Located in the midst of Helsinki, this two-bedroom apartment is located in the Kamppi zone. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of the building which is across the street from a bakery and located just around the corner from the central shopping area. There is an elevator available. The entrance of the apartment opens into the main living area with the kitchen to the left.
The living room is a nicely furnished area with the availability of a sofa bed. The apartment will accommodate five people. A sofa, TV, DVD player, CD player and coffee table furnish the room nicely. There are nice views of the city from the windows here.
The kitchen is a modern and convenient area with a toaster, microwave, stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker. The cooking utensils are all supplied if you should choose an evening in with a prepared meal rather than eating out.
The apartment has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is spacious and nicely decorated. It has a double bed with a closet/wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. Blankets as well as bed linens are provided. The second bedroom contains a single bed and is nicely furnished as well.
The bathroom is up to date, containing a shower and all towels are included for the convenience of guests.
This apartment has a washer and dryer as well as a dining table located off the main living area. Heating is supplied and the apartment has WiFi for Internet connections. Parking is available on the street and nearby underground parking is also available. Pets are allowed and although smoking is not permitted, the apartment is cannabis friendly.
It is in a quiet area and near many shopping venues with the airport and bus service nearby. There is also a taxi service available and the central railway station is not far from the apartment.

There are a number of sights to visit within walking distance of the apartment. One you will not want to miss is the Temppeliaukio Church. This building is unlike any you have ever seen. The architects designed the church choosing a rock formation 40 feet above the street and the inside was blasted out creating a church built of natural granite. The inside of the church is circular and the walls are rock. The church is often called the Rock Church and it is a very popular destination for visitors.
Another intriguing sight that is close and you should not miss is the Sibelius Monument. This is over 600 tubes made of stainless steel welded together and it weighs 30 tons. It is a landmark in Helsinki and was constructed to honor Jean Sibelius, a national composer.
The project divided the public as one side was definitely in favor of the monument and the other was against it. Over time, the radical status that was viewed when the monument was new has changed and it is mostly accepted by the population. Nonetheless it is worth seeing while you are on holiday in Helsinki.
